The district aims to enhance community engagement and cultural activities in the area. Local bars and restaurants are excited to add this tool to their business. Participating businesses include The Gathering Place, Foley Brunch & Supper Club, Scuttlebutt Pub, Southern Shores Eats & Drinks and Mama Mia's Pizzeria. The Downtown Foley A&E District hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. Drinks must be in approved containers purchased at the participating district restaurants and bars. Approved container means a non-glass container not exceeding a volume of 16 fluid ounces, which is provided to a customer by the seller and must have the A&E District sticker on the container. You are not allowed to take the drink into another participating restaurant or bar. The Downtown Foley A& E District's boundaries will be posted around town and the sidewalks are marked with fun boundary stencils.
